Mycopunk Achievements: All 48 and How to Unlock Them

Quick answer

48 achievements. Most are milestones you get by playing, three need co-op partners (Best Teammate, Full Crew, BANG), and the rare tail is Expedition Alpha, X11-B, Ground Zero, The 10th Floor, Starrunner and The Holder of All Things. Bunker Buster and Cranius were both flagged as not unlocking at launch.

Mycopunk ships with 48 Steam achievements, and the list doubles as a map of the game: it names the regions, the threat ladder, the employees, the secret boss and the modes. It also exposes what the player base actually does, because global completion rates are public. Both are useful — one tells you what to do next, the other tells you what almost nobody has done.

What the rates say about the player base

A handful of numbers make the shape of the game obvious:

  • No Broccoli Please (complete a mission in Gravity Farms) sits at 91.9% — that is the first region.
  • Safe (threat 1) is 84.7%, Risky (threat 2) 83.5%, Perilous (threat 3) 64.3%, Treacherous (threat 4) 52.5%.
  • Deadly (threat 5) drops to 41.9%, Onslaught (threat 6) 30.5%, and Predicament (threat 7) is 0.7%.
  • Employee of the Day (reach level 30) is 7.3%.
  • Expedition Alpha (rescue the Mycologist) was at 0.7% when this page was written, one day after launch.

If you are sitting at threat 3 with a level 12 employee, you are in the middle of the distribution, not behind it.

The four you should know are bugged

The 1.0 launch notes list known issues, and two of them are achievement bugs:

  • Cranius (defeat Cranius) does not unlock.
  • Bunker Buster unlocks after opening 15 bunkers instead of the intended 1.

Two Fulfillments (the in-game achievement system, which is separate from Steam achievements) also fail to progress: the relay tower activation and the Saxitos bag rescue. If you have done the thing and nothing happened, you are not doing it wrong.

Co-op achievements without a crew

Four achievements want other players:

  • Best Teammate — kill a member of your crew. 49.4% of players have it, which says something about this community.
  • Full Crew — complete a mission with four different employees in your crew. 24.4%.
  • BANG — make a basket with another player's broken body. 10.4%.
  • Yeehawwwww! — as the Wrangler, lasso another player. 29.2%.

Two of these (Full Crew and BANG) genuinely need a group. The others can be arranged with a single friend in a low-threat mission, which is the cheapest route: threat 1, private lobby, do the thing, extract.

The long tail

Five achievements sit at or near zero, and they define the endgame:

  • The 10th Floor — reach floor 10 in Incursion.
  • Starrunner — get a score of 10,000 in the HUB arcade minigame.
  • The Holder of All Things — discover every upgrade in the game.
  • Bunker Buster — open a locked bunker (currently unlocking at 15).
  • Prospector and X11-B — complete a mission in the Swamp and on the moonlet, both gated behind later content.

The Holder of All Things is the real completionist goal. It is not gated behind skill, it is gated behind the Ouroboros upgrade pool and mission drops, which makes it a long, steady project rather than a single challenge.

Achievements that are just fun

A few exist purely because the developers have a sense of humour, and they are the cheapest ones to pick up on a boring evening:

  • Oops — knock over a pipe in the HUB.
  • Hi and Calm Down — say hi to Roachard once, then a lot.
  • I Want Saxitos — punch a bag of Saxitos.
  • Hard Landing — die from fall damage.
  • Employee of the Month — die 31 times.
